The L.I.T.E. IT UP™ Wife Retreat from April 25-27 2025 in Austin, Texas at the Miraval Resort & Spa is organized by Empowered Marriage Community for Wives LLC hosted by Kenyatta Young. By registering for the retreat, I agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payments:

1. General Admission: I agree to pay the specified general admission fee, which includes lodging (Single Occupancy or double bed; based on my selection at the time of registering for the retreat), meals, workshops, onsite activities, and transportation to/from the hotel (does not include airline tickets).
2. Payment Deadline: If not paying in full, I understand that payment, including the initial deposit, must be made by the specified deadline to secure my spot in the retreat.
3. Refunds and Cancellations:

• Non-Refundable Payments: I acknowledge that all payments, including the initial deposit, are non-refundable.
• Additional Finance Charge: I understand there will be an additional finance charge for any missed or rescheduled payments.

1. Room and Resort Fees: I understand that the pricing includes the room rate and the Resort Fee. The Resort Fee is separate and distinct from, and in addition to, the Package Rate and taxes. It covers workshops and activities planned by the host.

Ongoing Payments:

1. Payment Plan Consent: I consent to Empowered Marriage Community for Wives LLC processing the credit card on file for ongoing payments as per the selected payment plan.

Accommodations:

1. Booking Accommodations: I understand that the retreat admission fee includes my accommodations for the 2025 Empowered Wife Retreat partner as outlined in the registration page. No other accommodations need to be booked.
2. Check-In Requirements: I will be required to check in at the resort with a credit card for a refundable incidental hold of $500.

Liability Waiver And Acknowledgment Of Risk:

1. Assumption of Risk: I understand and agree that in participating in any activities and/ or travel associated with this retreat that there is a possibility of physical injury. EMCW recommends that I check with my physician before engaging in this retreat, and I have done so, or made a decision that I do not need to do so. I voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and responsibility for any such injury or accident, which might occur to me during the Event. I am voluntarily participating in the aforementioned activities and participating at my own risk. I am aware of the risks associated with participating in the retreat, which may include, but are not limited to: physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss, and death. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or others’ negligence, conditions related to travel to and from the retreat, or from conditions at the retreat locations. Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known and unknown to me, of my participation in the retreat. I also exempt, release, and indemnify EMCW, its officers, directors, owners, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members, contractors, coaches, contractors, and agents, from any and all liability claims, demands, causes of action, damages, injuries, losses, or death, arising in any way (directly or indirectly) in connection with participation in any class or workshop offered by EMCW. I understand that I should be aware of my physical limitations and agree not to exceed them. 
2. Health and Wellness: I confirm that I am in good physical and mental health to participate in the activities planned for the retreat. EMCW recommends that I check with my physician before engaging in this retreat.
3. Release of Liability: I release Empowered Marriage Community for Wives LLC from any liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during the Empowered Wife Retreat. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EMCW against any and all claims, suits, or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation, or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney's fees and any related costs.

Code of Conduct:

1. Respectful Behavior: I agree to treat all attendees, organizers, and staff with respect and courtesy. If I violate any of the resort rules and cause any harm, damage, fees, or removal from the property, I will be held liable for refunding the expenses, fees accrued, and/or any other monetary losses to the owner, Kenyatta Young.
2. Compliance: I agree to comply with all local laws, resort rules, and guidelines set by the organizers during the retreat.

Privacy:

1. Data Collection: I consent to the collection and use of personal information for registration and communication purposes.
2. RIGHT TO PHOTOS & VIDEO: I hereby expressly grant to EMCW and to its officers, employees, coaches, contractors, agents, and assignees the right to capture, record, and use photographs, video, and/or audio impressions (including live or over the Internet) of me (collectively, “Impressions”) recorded on April 25-April 27, 2025, and to use the photographs and my voice and picture, silhouette, and other reproductions of physical likeness and class-related work (including any still image, videotaped image, captured video-conference image, CD-ROMs, DVDs, and/or other analog or digital means, or other media now in existence or hereafter developed), in connection with or as part of any presentation, program, publication, product, transmission, or other professional endeavor in which the same may be used or incorporated, and also in the advertising, and/or publicizing of any such analog or digital works or their content, in perpetuity. I understand these images/sounds may be used for commercial, educational, or informational purposes. I shall not be entitled to any royalties, fees, or other compensation or notice in connection with any such use. In addition, I waive any claims that any use of my photograph, image, and/or voice as permitted hereunder portrays me in a derogatory manner or false light.

Miscellaneous:

1. Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, acts of terrorism, pandemics) preventing the retreat's execution, Empowered Marriage Community for Wives LLC reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event.
2. Amendments: Empowered Marriage Community for Wives LLC reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. I will be notified of any changes.

By completing the registration process, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions for the Empowered Wife Retreat. I also acknowledge the fun, relaxation, and friendship I will experience and take full responsibility to foster good vibes. I hereby certify that I have read the foregoing and fully understand the meaning and effect thereof, intending to be legally bound.
